Church Membership

Church Membership

Answering the call to follow Jesus is more than simply attending church gatherings. Jesus calls us to be life-long committed learners and followers of Him. If you are a follower of Christ, you have been redeemed for a reason! Our mission is to glorify God by making and developing disciples. The Bible teaches that followers of Jesus must partake of His mission with other people. Church Membership demonstrates your commitment to Christ, His mission, and His people. We encourage all regular attenders to join the church as Covenant Members.

Becoming a Covenant Member

Step One: Membership Class

We want you to make an informed decision about joining our church.

Our Membership Class covers who we are as a church, what we believe, what it means to be a covenant member, and how you can be a part of what God is doing in and through our faith family.

Email connect@newlifechurch.ae to register for the next class. This meeting will take place at the church villa in Khalifa City.

The Membership class will provide information about the gospel, our church and leaders and any other information you require.

Step Two: Affirm Covenant and Statement of Beliefs

We want you to know what New Life Church believes and what will be expected of you as a member. Our elders and leaders pledge to assist our Covenant Members with care, counsel, prayer and teaching. Similarly, our Covenant Members commit to pray for the inividuals that make up our faith family, and use their God-given gifts and abilities to serve the church. We hope that, as the Lord leads, you make a covenant to be part of our faith family. Joining New Life Church does not require resigning membership in a church from your home country.

Read our Church Covenant and Statement of Beliefs.

Step Three: Meet with a Church Elder

The final step in becoming a member is to meet with a Church Elder to sign the Membership Covenant. We will explain the covenant, listen to your testimony of what the Gospel means for you, and answer any questions you may have. Once you sign the covenant, you are considered a Covenant Member.
