Thinus was saved and baptised in 1993. In 1995 he married Chirani and they were blessed with four children.
Thinus and his wife are from South Africa and they moved to Abu Dhabi in 2020. They started attending New Life Church shortly after arriving in the UAE and became members in 2021.
Thinus enjoys studying reformed theology and leads the on-island Home Group. He wishes to proclaim the gospel and show how the Christian worldview speaks into every sphere of life.
