Exodus 24 points to the gospel by showing that covenant relationship with God is built on both His initiative and our response—yet ultimately fulfilled in Christ. Israel hears God’s word, commits to obedience, and the covenant is sealed with blood, foreshadowing the greater covenant Jesus establishes through His own sacrifice. Where Israel’s obedience was fragile, Christ’s obedience is perfect; where the covenant at Sinai required repeated sacrifices, the gospel offers a once‑for‑all atonement. In this way, Exodus 24 anticipates the Mediator who brings His people into lasting fellowship with God.
